Role Overview – Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with the Machine Vision Algorithms (MVA) team to evaluate system performance across multiple global deployments. This role combines data analytics, system benchmarking, statistical evaluation, and exposure to computer vision data.

You will analyse multi-site operational datasets, evaluate repeatability and drift, build dashboards, and translate large-scale industrial and image data into actionable insights for engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.

This is a cross-functional role that directly supports ML engineers, product managers, and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Multi-Site Data Analysis

  • Analyse operational datasets across global deployments.

  • Identify trends, variability, and performance patterns.

  • Conduct system benchmarking across diverse environments.

🔹 System Reliability & Repeatability Studies

  • Perform consistency and repeatability evaluations.

  • Assess measurement accuracy across different operating conditions.

  • Identify reliability gaps and optimization opportunities.

🔹 Model & Data Drift Analysis

  • Evaluate model outputs and image/sensor data.

  • Detect data drift and model degradation.

  • Recommend corrective and preventive improvements.

🔹 Dashboard Development & Reporting

  • Build dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

  • Visualize KPIs such as alert rates, processing time, image quality metrics, and drift indicators.

  • Develop recurring performance reports (pre- and post-deployment analysis).

🔹 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Translate analytical findings into actionable insights.

  • Present performance narratives during customer site visits.

  • Support engineering and ML teams with performance validation.

  • Analyse historical operational and image datasets to refine system specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or similar analytical roles.

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

  • Expertise in analytical libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.

  • Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Statistical analysis

    • Time-series analysis

    • Performance benchmarking

    • Data quality metrics

  • Exposure to computer vision concepts such as:

    • Image quality metrics

    • Data/model drift

    • CV model evaluation

  • Experience working with large-scale distributed or industrial datasets (preferred).

  • Familiarity with deep learning workflows (classification, detection, segmentation) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
