Eligibility Criteria (Round 3 Updates)

The 2026 cycle has specific requirements to ensure it reaches the most deserving candidates:

  • Age: 18 to 24 years (as of application date).

  • Education: Open to 10th/12th pass, ITI, Diploma, and Graduates (BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, B.Tech, etc.).

  • Exclusions: Students from premier institutes (IITs, IIMs, NLUs) and candidates with higher professional degrees (CA, MBA, PhD, MBBS) are not eligible.

  • Family Income: Must be below ₹8 Lakh per year.

  • Employment Status: Must not be in a full-time job or a full-time regular course (final-year students may apply).

  1. Register: Visit the official portal and sign up using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

  2. e-KYC: Complete your mandatory e-KYC via DigiLocker or Aadhaar OTP.

  3. Profile Building: Enter your academic details and skills. The portal will automatically generate a resume for you.

  4. Aadhaar Seeding: Ensure your bank account is Aadhaar-seeded via the NPCI portal to receive the DBT stipend.

  5. Submit: Choose your top 5 preferences by sector or location and hit submit.
