We are looking for a Data Scientist (2–4.5 years experience) who specialises in Forecasting, Operations Research, and Time Series. About the Role: Research-Driven Engineering at Scale

You will join a team that balances academic excellence with real-world production demands. You won’t just build models; you’ll solve the complex logistical and predictive puzzles that power India’s fashion landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Innovation: Design and deploy advanced models for Forecasting, Choice Modeling, and Hierarchical Mixture modeling.

• Supply Chain Optimisation: Build scalable solutions for demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, trend prediction, and assortment placement.

• Large-Scale OR: Utilize optimization techniques (Nonlinear and Integer Programming) to solve complex supply chain and logistics challenges.

• End-to-End Ownership: Maintain and optimise ML pipelines, including feature extraction, model training, and CI/CD automated deployment.

• Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate business challenges into mathematical solutions.

• Research & Development: Stay at the bleeding edge of ML/OR advancements and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.

 Your Profile: Technical & Mathematical Excellence

We value a strong foundation in first principles and the ability to apply them to massive, high-concurrency datasets.

• Education: Master’s (2–4 years exp) or Bachelor’s (3–4.5 years exp) in Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

• Core Technical Stack:

  • Languages: Expert Proficiency in Python.

  • Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.

  • Optimisation: Hands-on experience with solvers like CPLEX, Gurobi, or COIN-OR.

• Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of ML/DL-based time series analysis and hierarchical estimation methods.

• Problem Solving: Ability to process large datasets and apply OR techniques to real-world bottlenecks.

Nice to Have:

• Research Footprint: Peer-reviewed publications in ML, Forecasting, or OR.

• Advanced AI: Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and ML orchestration (Airflow, MLflow).
