UST is seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst who can bridge business requirements and technical execution while working closely with onsite and offshore teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java-based web technologies, collaboration platforms, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing delivery risks, facilitating sprint readiness, and ensuring seamless communication between business stakeholders and development teams.

This role requires leadership without micromanagement — guiding teams to self-organise and achieve objectives efficiently.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with onsite teams on ongoing and upcoming initiatives.

  • Understand requirements both functionally and technically.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Promote collaboration between business, development, and DevOps teams.

🔹 Requirement Analysis & Planning

  • Translate business needs into actionable plans in coordination with development teams.

  • Facilitate sprint planning and ensure stories are sprint-ready.

  • Support Product Owners and technical teams in prioritization and execution.

🔹 Delivery Oversight & Tracking

  • Track development progress and ensure timely closure of deliverables.

  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, assumptions, and issues.

  • Escalate concerns when necessary to maintain delivery timelines.

🔹 Agile Facilitation & Team Leadership

  • Guide and coach delivery teams to self-organise.

  • Foster a safe and collaborative work environment.

  • Apply facilitation techniques, situational awareness, and conflict resolution strategies.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

🔹 Technical & Production Support

  • Troubleshoot issues in production and non-production environments.

  • Apply debugging and analytical techniques alongside development teams.

  • Promote a strong DevOps culture across teams.

🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related leadership roles.

  • Strong background in Agile methodologies and frameworks.

  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise or financial services environments.

✔ Technical Expertise

  • Prior experience in at least one programming language, such as Java or C.

  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Hands-on experience with JIRA or other Agile PLM tools.

  • Excellent understanding of Git version control systems.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms; certification in Google Cloud Platform preferred.

  • Knowledge of the AODocs Collaboration Platform is a plus.
