About the Role: Data Analyst (1-Year Contract)

Are you a detail-oriented analyst who thrives on structuring complex commercial workflows and ensuring data integrity? Jabra is seeking an analytical, proactive Data Analyst for a fixed 1-year contract position (Maternity Leave Cover) at our technological hub in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Embedded within the Commercial Data Management team—a central component of GN’s global Data Analytics organisation—you will sit at the very heart of the company’s enterprise commercial data ecosystem. This role is tailored for professionals with 1 to 6 years of experience who find genuine satisfaction in data operations, master data alignment, and meticulous cleansing protocols. You will be responsible for validating international Point of Sale (POS) streams, managing data quality metrics, and ensuring that our global sales pipelines provide an accurate foundation for executive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities & Commercial Workflows

  • SISO Data Orchestration: Execute the critical monthly Sell-In / Sell-Out (SISO) pipeline, identifying structural anomalies between manufacturing shipments and consumer retail sales, and coordinating resolutions with regional Account Managers.

  • Data Vendor Stewardship: Act as the primary technical point of contact for external data-processing vendors, auditing weekly data cleansing registries, and ensuring rapid turnaround on data exceptions.

  • Data Quality Management: Run continuous data sanity audits across core POS files and partner master data registries to identify discrepancies and enforce governance rules.

  • Ad-Hoc Stakeholder Support: Manage internal ticketing systems, resolving transactional data queries and delivering clear data checks for cross-functional business leaders.

  • SOP Documentation: Maintain, update, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and data dictionary documentation to keep internal global data processes highly transparent.

We are looking for an organised professional who brings high operational precision and comfort working with distributed global teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience Horizon: 1 to 6 years of verified experience as a Data Analyst, Data Quality Analyst, or within a Master Data Management (MDM) framework.

  • Core Toolkit: Exceptional mastery of Advanced Microsoft Excel with absolute comfort managing large, nested enterprise datasets.

  • Business Intelligence (BI): Direct exposure to or comfort navigating modern BI visualisation platforms such as Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau.

  • Communication Style: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate cleanly with multicultural stakeholders across time zones.

  • Operational Mindset: A proactive, self-directed working style capable of executing repetitive, business-critical monthly closing routines with absolute accuracy.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Functional knowledge of retail Point of Sale (POS) pipelines or CRM data architectures.

  • Foundational conceptual understanding of basic SQL query blocks.

  • Prior experience navigating data governance, data lineage, or master data cleansing platforms.
