Job Overview

H&M is currently hiring a Data Analyst for a 1-year contract role in Bengaluru. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about data analytics, business intelligence, and working in a fast-paced global environment.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Business Experts, to develop impactful data solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis and exploration to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business problems and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Build and maintain data products and dashboards using tools like Power BI.
  • Work with large datasets using SQL and BigQuery for efficient data extraction and processing.
  • Validate and test data models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Prepare and clean data for analysis to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Document processes, methodologies, and results for transparency and stakeholder understanding.
  • Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and continuous improvement practices within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery and familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem are a plus.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Basic understanding of Python or R for data analysis (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
