Role & Responsibilities
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing financial market data, particularly Bonds and Credit Default Swaps (CDS) pricing information. This data is essential for powering ICE’s trusted financial products used by clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze, validate, and maintain Bonds & CDS pricing data.
- Set up and manage securities reference data for accurate valuation.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Content, Product, and Quality Assurance.
- Communicate with external stakeholders to gather real-time market data.
- Improve operational efficiency by identifying process gaps and suggesting enhancements.
- Support automation initiatives using tools like Excel, VBA, and Macros.
Required Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates should have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for financial data.
Educational Qualification:
- MBA in Finance or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution
Experience:
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in data analytics, finance, or related fields
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of financial instruments (Bonds, CDS) is a plus
- Basic understanding of data analysis and data quality frameworks
- Experience with VBA/Macros is an added advantage
