About the Role: Business Analyst (AUTA Graduate Track)

Amazon is actively hiring a highly analytical, self-motivated Business Analyst through its AUTA program. This full-time graduate role is explicitly structured for students in their final year of study or recent graduates who have finished their degree within the last 12 months. Successful candidates will be placed into key internal Business Intelligence (BI), Retail Operations, or Seller Services teams.

As a graduate Business Analyst at Amazon, you will move past simple metrics tracking and step into the high-velocity flow of Big Data analytics. Working within highly complex operations, your day-to-day focus will center on extracting insights from massive multi-source relational databases, writing data queries, and building business intelligence visualisations. This position gives you a direct seat at the table, allowing you to partner with technical, finance, and retail leaders to design robust business cases, map operational trends, and optimise the systems that drive Amazon’s customer experience.

Key Responsibilities & Analytical Workflows

  • Big Data Analysis: Extract, clean, and model complex, high-volume operational records pulled from multiple internal systems to isolate growth opportunities and process exceptions.

  • Business Case Architecture: Collaborate closely with operational, finance, retail, and technical engineering squads to translate raw metrics into sound, data-driven business cases.

  • Cross-Functional Optimisation: Define, deploy, and track performance measurements to continuously refine input metrics, improving ultimate bottom-line outputs across e-commerce operations.
