About the Role: Data Analyst (Consulting Track)
Guidehouse is actively hiring a technically precise, clearance-holding Data Analyst to join its Data Engineering & Architecture Consulting division in Fairview Heights, Illinois. This full-time, 5 days a week, onsite position is designed for professionals with at least 3 years of proven experience who want to work at the intersection of business intelligence, database troubleshooting, and federal mission support.
In this role, you will assume operational ownership over reporting lifecycles for enterprise systems and mission-critical programs. Your day-to-day focus will center on building and maintaining enterprise-level performance dashboards using Power BI or Tableau and writing optimised SQL routines for relational databases. You will be tasked with identifying operational trends, establishing data dictionaries, mentoring junior analysts, and implementing automated scripts via Python or R to streamline internal metrics tracking, root cause analysis, and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities & Analytical Workflows

Enterprise System Support: Provide end-to-end data analysis, management, and reporting support for high-stakes enterprise systems and mission-critical federal programs.

BI Dashboard Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain advanced corporate data models, reporting structures, and visual telemetry dashboards in Power BI or Tableau to deliver actionable operational insights.

Data Wrangling & Processing: Ingest, parse, and clean large, complex datasets from multiple internal and external databases to isolate outperforming trends and operational anomalies.

Root Cause Analysis: Lead complex data-related troubleshooting sprints to resolve structural data discrepancies, query bottlenecks, and reporting errors.
