About the Role: Data Analyst (EBO MIS)

Guidehouse India is actively hiring a technically precise, detail-oriented Data Analyst to join its Enterprise Business Operations Management Information System (EBO MIS) division in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This full-time, onsite position is designed for professionals with at least 1 year of corporate experience who want to work at the intersection of business intelligence, automation engineering, and Project Management Office (PMO) logistics.

In this role, you will assume operational ownership over critical backend PMO frameworks and reporting lifecycles. Working under moderate supervision, your day-to-day focus will center on building and maintaining enterprise-level performance dashboards using Power BI and advanced MS Excel (utilising Power Query and Power Pivot). You will be tasked with identifying operational trends, establishing data quality checks, and implementing automated scripts via VBA and macros to streamline internal metrics tracking, client billing, and compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities & Analytical Workflows

• Backend PMO Operations: Manage and track essential back-end operations, including system timesheet management, invoice oversight, subcontractor/roster tracking, infrastructure/resource allocation, and data compliance tracking.

• BI Dashboard Engineering: Design, build, and scale advanced corporate reports and visual telemetry dashboards in Power BI and MS Excel to deliver clear, data-driven operational insights to global business stakeholders.

• Data Transformation & Modelling: Leverage Power Query and Power Pivot to ingest, cleanse, merge, and transform disparate internal data streams into structurally sound, normalised data models.

• Process Automation Scripting: Architect, test, and implement automated data workflows and macro routines using VBA to eliminate manual reporting loops and improve system processing speeds.

• Quality Assurance & Data Auditing: Execute routine internal data audits and quality assurance checks to identify operational exceptions, trace anomalies, and guarantee the absolute integrity of outbound client-ready documents.

• Data Governance Standardisation: Draft, test, and implement technology best practices, system reporting guidelines, and repeatable technical data processes across the local business operations branch.

Required Technical Competencies:
