As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a critical link between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will gather, analyse, and document business requirements and ensure technical solutions align with organisational goals.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and project objectives.

  • Elicit and document detailed business requirements.

  • Analyse current processes and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct workshops and stakeholder meetings to clarify requirements.

2️⃣ Documentation & Functional Specifications

  • Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD).

  • Develop detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSD).

  • Create use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.

  • Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

3️⃣ Lending Domain Expertise (LOS & LMS)

  • Work on Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS).

  • Support end-to-end lending workflows, including onboarding, underwriting, approval, disbursement, and servicing.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

  • Align system functionality with lending business processes.

4️⃣ Collaboration with Technology Teams

  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for developers.

  • Coordinate with technical teams to design scalable and feasible solutions.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation processes.

  • Ensure solutions meet both functional and strategic requirements.

5️⃣ Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams.

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Strong experience in BRD and FSD preparation.

  • Hands-on experience in the Lending domain (LOS & LMS systems).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in:

    • Microsoft Visio (process mapping)

    • JIRA (requirement tracking & Agile workflows)

  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
