As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Finance’s alignment with global data management frameworks — ensuring accuracy, governance, and consistency across our financial systems. 🔍 About the Role
The Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality, and governance of financial data across multiple systems and processes. You will partner closely with data stewards, IT teams, Finance SMEs, and business stakeholders worldwide to address data challenges, streamline processes, and develop scalable solutions.
This role demands strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of data management principles. You’ll be at the heart of initiatives that directly influence decision-making at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive Data Governance & Framework Alignment

Support Finance’s alignment with enterprise-wide Data Management Frameworks, focusing on data governance, quality, infrastructure, and reporting standards.

Collaborate with the Group Data Office, system owners, and finance stakeholders to ensure compliance with global data policies and controls.
2. Analyze and Resolve Data Quality Issues

Conduct deep-dive analysis of data quality issues raised by functions such as Treasury and Financial Control.

Propose both tactical and strategic solutions to ensure long-term data reliability.

Engage with data stewards, IT teams, and SMEs to resolve discrepancies and maintain consistent data standards.
3. Optimize Data Reconciliations

Review and reduce the number of reconciliations and manual adjustments performed by finance data teams.

Identify root causes for mismatches, design remediation plans, and implement automation where possible to enhance efficiency.
4. Global Collaboration and Strategic Data Solutions

Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the globe to understand local data challenges.

Design and implement strategic solutions that address these issues and improve data flow consistency between systems and regions.
5. Data Stewardship and Transformation

Partner with upstream data stewards and finance data consumers to build a robust data stewardship model.

Implement control frameworks that ensure accuracy, traceability, and transparency across the data lifecycle.
6. Reporting, Analytics, and Key Metrics

Create purposeful Management Information (MI) dashboards and presentation materials highlighting key KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) from a data quality and governance perspective.

Present insights and findings to leadership in a clear and actionable format.
7. Documentation and Knowledge Management

Work with SMEs and SPOCs to document data artifacts, workflows, and governance standards.

Maintain updated process documentation to support audits and future reference.
8. Project & Initiative Support

Lead or support data-related projects, system migrations, and transformation initiatives.

Partner with business functions to ensure data readiness, accuracy, and compliance in all major finance programs.
🎯 What We’re Looking For

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, financial data management, or related functions.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Skills:

Strong understanding of data governance principles and data management frameworks.
-
Hands-on experience with data analytics tools (SQL, Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or similar).

Knowledge of finance processes (reporting, reconciliation, controls).
-
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate data insights into clear business recommendations.
