Job Overview
As a Data Analyst at Coding Ninjas, you will play a key role in analysing business data, identifying patterns, and providing actionable insights that improve decision-making across departments. You’ll work closely with teams across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to help us understand user behaviour, optimise performance, and create data-backed strategies that fuel our growth.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, logical, and curious — someone who loves diving deep into datasets, uncovering trends, and telling meaningful stories with data. If you enjoy working with tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Python, and you have a strong understanding of data models and analytics frameworks, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and interpret large data sets from multiple sources.

Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations to monitor business performance.

Identify trends, correlations, and patterns in complex data sets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and deliver insights.

Provide actionable recommendations based on statistical analysis and business understanding.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop automated data solutions to enhance efficiency.

Present data insights and reports to leadership and business stakeholders.

Support the implementation of new analytical tools, systems, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

Proven experience (1–4 years) as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.

Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets.

Strong experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.

Hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and visual stories.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills

Experience working in an ed-tech, SaaS, or digital business environment.
