🚀 Role Summary
The Workday Finance Business Analyst acts as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyse, validate, and communicate requirements related to business processes and financial systems.
In this role, you will support Workday system administration, contribute to financial transformation initiatives, and lead analysis activities for high-priority projects. You will collaborate closely with finance business teams to recommend solutions that align with organisational goals and strategies.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Workday System Administration & Support

Perform Workday tenant configuration and business process setup.

Provide post-production support for:

Resource Plans & Pools

Resource Forecasts & Budgets

Understand PSA (Professional Services Automation) and RM (Resource Management) functionality within Workday.

Troubleshoot issues and coordinate system enhancements.
🔹 Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Prepare and conduct requirement elicitation sessions (interviews, workshops, document analysis).

Define and prioritize requirements, assumptions, and constraints with stakeholders.

Organise, model, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

Recommend process and system improvements aligned with business goals.

Write clear, structured requirement specifications.

Decompose high-level business requirements into detailed system requirements.

Maintain documentation throughout system implementation and enhancement cycles.

Apply Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Scaled Agile, and Kanban.

Lead Agile ceremonies and participate in sprint planning.

Support Go/No-Go decision processes and document outcomes.

Ensure traceability across releases and project milestones.
🔹 Change & Issue Management

Manage requirement changes using structured change control processes.

Maintain traceability from business objectives to development and testing.

Collaborate with defect tracking teams and resolve system issues.

Support release management and team coordination.
🎓 Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree (BCom, BBA, or equivalent experience) – Required

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) – Preferred
