As a Freelance Accounting Manager at EY, you’ll play a key role in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance processes for various clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of financial information while maintaining EY’s high standards.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities for assigned clients.
• Oversee general ledger operations and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, or other relevant standards.
• Ensure tax compliance, audit readiness, and internal control effectiveness.
• Support budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with audit teams, finance professionals, and client stakeholders.
• Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Use accounting software tools (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.) for data management.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and accounting best practice.

👉 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA / CPA / ACCA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and reporting frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines in a freelance setup.
