This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading start-ups’ in the digital healthcare environment.

As the NHS moves to a more integrated model and drives for greater efficiencies and cost savings, our clients product is ideally placed to gain traction across multiple care settings and providers. With a solid customer base, they are now looking to accelerate sales and are seeking a business development expert that will lead initiatives to generate and engage with key stakeholder groups – primarily in the NHS – and build new business for the company. This candidate will ideally have healthcare and SaaS experience and will be able to demonstrate the ability to engage with key decision-makers in the NHS and independent sectors.

The Role:

  • Create, manage and implement a lead generation programme in your designated sector
  • To develop, with leadership, a strategic and operational plan to deliver and maximise sales opportunities
  • Work with the internal team to ensure you have adequate off and on-line content to support all sales activities across your designated sectors
  • Building trust and reputation with stakeholders in key customer groups i.e ICSs, NHS Trusts, private providers, etc.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with all prospects in all key markets
  • Day-to-day sales administration in preparing quotations and tenders and ensuring CRM records are up to date
  • Deliver sales presentations and demos
  • Support across both pre and post–sales
  • Active management of sales pipeline to deal closing and go-live (from deal closing you will work with the onboarding and customer success team to get the customer live)
  • Produce monthly progress reports and sales pipeline reports
  • Allocating at least an hour each week to attend weekly business development meetings
  • Any other task as may be reasonably requested by the Company from time to time

Requirements:

  • Results orientated
  • Motivated and ambitious
  • Healthcare (NHS) experience
  • SaaS sales experience
  • Clinical background (is a bonus but not essential)
