We are currently seeking a BI Tech Lead with a deep mastery of the Power BI ecosystem and the Azure/Fabric/Databricks stack. This is a 100% Remote leadership role for a technical visionary who can design high-performance reporting solutions and mentor the next generation of BI experts.

The Role: Architecting Enterprise Intelligence

As a BI Tech Lead, you will bridge the gap between complex data backends and compelling front-end narratives. You will own the technical roadmap for reporting solutions and ensure every dashboard meets the highest standards of performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Stewardship: Lead the design and architecture of high-scale BI reporting solutions.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with Back-end and Front-end teams to ensure seamless integration between data sources (SQL, Databricks) and Power BI.

• Quality Governance: Conduct regular code reviews and approve technical designs to ensure adherence to security, performance, and scalability criteria.

• Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical aspects into clear insights for customers and senior stakeholders.

• Modernisation: Stay at the forefront of the industry, implementing Copilot, AI model preparation, and Microsoft Fabric features.

• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, conduct workshops, and mentor junior leads to enhance the team’s collective capability.

Your Profile: The BI Visionary

We are looking for a lead who understands the “why” behind the data and the “how” behind the architecture.

• Experience: 8–10 years of intensive experience in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.

• Ecosystem Knowledge: Hands-on understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Databricks.

• Data Sources: Proven ability to work with diverse sources, including SQL, Excel, SharePoint, and Databricks.

• Semantic Modelling: Expert ability to construct complex DAX queries and support the business with semantic model architecture.

• Independent Management: Capability to independently manage multiple workspaces, models, and Power BI service environments.

• Storytelling: A flair for creating and presenting compelling, high-impact reports and dashboards.

• Communication: Fluency in English with the ability to deliver results within quick, agile timelines.
