About the Company: Revitalising Authentic Indian Snacking
Sweet Karam Coffee is a rapidly growing, proudly forward-thinking food and beverage brand on a mission to eliminate “junk” from daily snacking. Roots established firmly in traditional South Indian heritage, the company manufactures premium, clean-label snacks, filter coffee, sweets, and everyday kitchen staples completely free of palm oil, artificial colours, and chemical preservatives.
Operating at a fast-paced intersection of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) e-commerce, major digital marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart), and dominant Quick-Commerce (Q-Commerce) portals such as Zepto, Blinkit, and Instamart, Sweet Karam Coffee is redefining consumer trust. By integrating age-old recipes with cutting-edge supply chain and logistics infrastructures, the brand delivers clean, nostalgic comfort food straight to modern households globally.
About the Role: Junior Data Analyst
Are you an analytical, metrics-driven professional eager to directly steer growth inside one of India’s most exciting D2C food startups? Sweet Karam Coffee is looking for a commercially sharp Junior Data Analyst to join our dedicated corporate team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Embedded natively within the Data Analytics & Insights – Centre of Excellence (CoE) division, this full-time role moves far beyond traditional, passive operational reporting. Instead, you will be a strategic pilot driving front-end performance analytics. You will harmonise high-velocity transactional inputs from Shopify engines, quick-commerce backends, and ERP databases into unified intelligence assets. Your deep-dive cohort patterns, sales velocity calculations, and pricing simulation structures will directly inform macro business strategies across marketing, merchandising, financial distribution, and S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) frameworks.
Key Responsibilities & Commercial Analytics Workflows
-
Data Ingestion & Governance: Extraction, harmonisation, and cleaning of multi-channel revenue streams across Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, quick-commerce APIs (Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart), CRM platforms, and corporate ERPs.
-
Business Intelligence & Dashboards: Designing and scaling interactive, self-serve dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to display GMV, AOV, channel mix, contribution margins, order fill rates, and promo ROI.
-
Insighting & Predictive Storytelling: Tracking continuous SKU performance velocity, promo uplift trends, and geographical customer splits to turn abstract transactional data into actionable business directives.
-
Forecast & Scenario Modelling: Assisting the Excellence Manager in validating long-term demand forecasting metrics while developing automated “what-if” models to assess pricing adjustments or product launch margins.
-
Pipeline Automation: Collaborating directly with core Data Engineering teams to systematically transition legacy Excel manual trackers into production-grade automated SQL / ETL structures.
