We are now seeking an elite Senior Software Engineer to join our SEPS (Shared Engagement Platform Services) team in Bengaluru.

 About the Role: Architecting High-Volume Fintech Systems

In this role, you aren’t just writing code; you are owning technical decisions and service health metrics for a platform that powers cross-platform integrations and high-volume traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distributed Systems Ownership: Architect, build, and maintain high-scale, cloud-native services.

  • Event-Driven Design: Lead the design of complex architectures using Kafka for high-throughput environments.

  • API Governance: Define and govern API standards using API Gateway to ensure consistent integration across the ecosystem.

  • Technical Leadership: Own service design with a focus on scalability, resilience, and performance tuning.

  • Engineering Excellence: Enforce best practices through deep code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Product leadership to define technical roadmaps and architectural direction.

 Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for a technical leader who has “been in the trenches” of high-volume production environments.

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience building and owning production-grade services.

  • Java Mastery: Deep expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

  • Kafka Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in high-throughput, event-driven environments.

  • Cloud Proficiency: Proven experience with AWS services (EKS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, S3).

  • Domain Knowledge: Professional experience in the Payment or FinTech domain is mandatory.

  • System Design: Advanced skills in debugging, performance optimisation, and distributed system design.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with CI/CD and release automation.

  • Advanced knowledge of caching and data modelling strategies.
