UST Careers: Project Manager – Cloud Migration

This is a senior-level role (7–10 years of experience) based in Bengaluru with remote flexibility. If you are a hands-on leader who thrives on end-to-end delivery and can navigate complex technical transitions, we want you on our team.

About the Role: Orchestrating the Migration Journey

In this role, you aren’t just tracking tasks—you are owning the success of a major platform shift. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the cloud migration initiative, ensuring that our infrastructure is future-proof and agile.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Delivery: Own the project lifecycle for the cloud migration, from scoping and planning to execution and handover.

• Strategic Planning: Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, status reports, and RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies).

• Stakeholder Synergy: Coordinate across multiple business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment.

• Proactive Risk Management: Identify potential roadblocks early and drive robust mitigation plans.

• Agile Governance: Run regular project meetings, track action items, and maintain high-quality documentation in Jira and Confluence.

• Dual-Hat Capability: Transition smoothly between high-level Project Management and hands-on Analyst tasks when the project demands it.

 Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for a PM who is comfortable in the “driver’s seat” of complex technical programs.

• Experience: 7+ years of Project Management experience, with a heavy preference for those who have led Cloud or Platform Migration projects.

• Methodologies: Strong proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid frameworks.

• Technical Tools: Advanced hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence for workflow tracking and documentation.

• Communication: Confident and clear communicator, capable of influencing senior leadership and technical stakeholders alike.

• Project Hygiene: A stickler for organised documentation and timely follow-ups.

Nice to Have:

• Direct experience with SaaS/Cloud migration programs.

• Experience managing vendors or system integrators.

• Familiarity with Change Management activities to support user adoption.
