About the Role: Intern, Data Analyst

Ventra Health is seeking a highly motivated, mathematically minded Intern, Data Analyst to join its specialised Data Analytics and Automation team in Chennai. This internship is tailored specifically for final-year students or recent graduates who are eager to bridge the gap between academic theory and production-grade data automation.

The primary mission of this role is to partner across internal business units to provide the quantitative tools necessary for high-stakes decision-making. Rather than working solely on theoretical exercises, you will be given immediate ownership of data pipelines. Your day-to-day domain will involve validating automated datasets, generating foundational reports, and learning to deploy Python scripts on the job to convert repetitive manual documentation into fully automated, programmatic pipelines.

Key Responsibilities & Data Analytics Workflows

• Report Validation & Auditing: Review, cross-reference, and validate the structural integrity of fully automated and semi-automated reporting pipelines to ensure absolute metrics accuracy.

• Manual Reporting Operations: Manage and compile specialised, high-priority business intelligence reports that have not yet been integrated into the automated system.

• Python Automation Scripting: Actively learn and apply Python on the job to design, write, and deploy execution scripts that automate manual reporting workflows and reduce latency.

• Process Optimisation Analysis: Apply critical thinking and data discovery techniques to current data pipelines, proactively suggesting enhancements to streamline data collection and delivery.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with international team members and diverse corporate personalities to translate operational requests into structured data parameters.
