About the Role: Data Analyst (Data Platform & Infrastructure Observability)
Are you an analytical data specialist who loves tracking high-throughput data pipelines, monitoring large cloud clusters, and transforming complex operational metrics into interactive dashboards? Infosys is hiring a full-time, permanent Data Analyst to join its engineering operations group in Bengaluru East, Karnataka. This role is tailored for early-career data professionals bringing 2+ years of hands-on experience who excel at the intersection of big data infrastructure and business intelligence.
In this position, you will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure squads and corporate business stakeholders. Your daily focus will center on analysing real-time data flows, building diagnostic observability dashboards using Kibana and Grafana, and monitoring performance patterns using Prometheus and Dynatrace. By translating complex business requirements into structured engineering specifications, you will ensure data platform performance, audit data governance frameworks, and optimise distributed environments built on Hadoop, Spark, and major cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities & Data Analytics Workflows

Infrastructure Observability & Tracking: Design, configure, and maintain real-time telemetry metrics and system dashboards inside Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus to audit data pipeline flows.

Big Data Performance Diagnostics: Monitor, evaluate, and analyse operational transaction speeds across distributed big data architectures running on Hadoop and Spark.

Real-Time Log Interpretation: Write advanced search syntax using Lucene Query Language and Google Standard SQL to parse high-volume system log data and isolate structural errors.

Stakeholder Requirements Translation: Collaborate closely with corporate leadership to understand operational needs, translating complex business problems into clear technical requirements for data engineering teams.

Pipeline & Queue Analysis: Trace streaming event delivery queues through Apache Kafka to prevent processing bottlenecks and guarantee structural data consistency.

CI/CD Pipeline Tracking: Monitor code deployments and system validation lifecycles using Git version control and Jenkins automation servers.

Data Governance & Security Auditing: Enforce data access policies, verify security compliance metrics, and ensure strict alignment with enterprise governance standards across all analytical layers.
