About the Role: Data Analyst (Engineering Performance Analytics)
Are you a seasoned analytics professional who excels at translating complex industrial datasets into high-level executive insights? Hitachi Energy is hiring a mid-to-senior-level Data Analyst to spearhead its engineering performance tracking and business intelligence architecture in Chennai. This position is designed for analytical problem solvers bringing 4 to 8 years of experience within engineering or manufacturing environments who possess a highly strategic mindset and master-level command of the Microsoft ecosystem.
As a Data Analyst, you will serve as the core engine of operational intelligence for the Transformers Business Unit. Your daily focus will transcend standard data cleaning; you will take full ownership of the end-to-end Key Performance Indicator (KPI) lifecycle. You will collaborate directly with cross-functional engineering leaders to define productivity metrics, build complex data models using DAX and SQL, and architect automated reporting workflows using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. By integrating raw information from enterprise ERP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems into secure Azure cloud architecture, you will deliver the scannable dashboards and predictive trend analyses that shape global corporate decision-making.
