SAP SD Team Lead (S/4HANA Rollout) | Remote & Onsite (USA)

This is a high-impact Contract leadership role for a Greenfield S/4HANA implementation. This position is unique because it transitions from a Remote setup to a critical Onsite Hypercare phase in the United States. You will be responsible for leading the Sales and Distribution (SD) workstream through the most volatile stages of a project: User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go-Live, and post-launch support.

🟢 Role Overview & Project Phases

As the Team Lead, you will orchestrate the SD functional design and ensure the template rollout aligns with global business requirements.

• Phase 1: Build & Design (May – August): Remote leadership focusing on the S/4HANA Greenfield setup. You will manage the configuration, functional specifications, and team coordination during Thailand evening hours.

• Phase 2: UAT Support (September): Shift to night-watch hours (Thailand time) to provide real-time support for users during the high-pressure Testing phase.

• Phase 3: Onsite Hypercare (Mid-October – November): Travel to Pittsburgh, PA, USA. You will be on the ground to stabilize the system, resolve “P1” tickets, and ensure a smooth transition for the client’s local operations.

🎯 Required Technical Arsenal

• S/4HANA Expertise: Deep knowledge of S/4HANA Sales (SD) specifically in a Greenfield context (new implementation rather than migration).

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record as a Team Lead, managing junior consultants and offshore/onshore coordination.

• Full Lifecycle Knowledge: Experience in Business Blueprinting, Realisation, UAT, and Hypercare.

• Communication: Exceptional English skills are mandatory, as you will be supporting US-based users onsite in Pittsburgh.
