As a Junior Data Analyst, you will manage global product hierarchies and reference data. Rather than running open-ended exploratory programming, your role centers on data validation, structural mapping verification, and reference data alignment. Working with data owners, regional teams, and IT stakeholders, you will use advanced spreadsheet modeling and query structures to catch data anomalies at the source, ensuring enterprise datasets remain clean and auditable.

Key Responsibilities & Data Quality Workflows

• Product Mapping & Validation: Review, audit, and validate product mapping outputs across disparate data networks, ERP environments, and localised relational systems.

• Data Integrity Rectification: Isolate, investigate, and fix structural data anomalies, entry errors, and mapping inconsistencies flagged during automated validation passes.

• Governance Standard Enforcement: Apply the client’s strict data dictionary definitions, taxonomy guidelines, and data governance rules to ensure all entries match global standards.

• Cross-Functional Dispute Resolution: Partner with regional data owners, business line managers, and core IT groups to clarify complex mapping logic and fix system discrepancies.

• Pipeline Documentation: Write and update data lineage logs, mapping logic files, and validation rules to guarantee complete traceability for internal and external corporate audits.

• Downstream Loss Mitigation: Run continuous quality checks on incoming datasets to prevent bad source data from breaking downstream executive dashboards and analytical models.
