About the Role: Business Intelligence Analyst
Are you an analytical professional with a knack for unearthing deep operational insights from complex data? FedEx is hiring a full-time, permanent Business Intelligence Analyst to join its data science division in the Greater Hyderabad Area, India. This role is designed for quantitative specialists with at least 2 years of professional experience who want to lead data projects and build predictive solutions.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst at FedEx, you will step away from basic descriptive reporting to run advanced statistical explorations on both structured and unstructured data. You will take ownership of the full data lifecycle—from designing data/text mining pipelines to deploying simulation models. Your work will directly solve complex business and operational problems, providing the executive leadership team with clear, data-backed insights to optimise global network efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities & Data Science Workflows

Statistical Data Exploration: Analyse large-scale structured and unstructured data streams using statistical modeling techniques to extract insights regarding delivery performance and supply chain patterns.

Data & Text Mining Pipeline Design: Architect and implement automated workflows for text mining, natural language processing (NLP) of customer feedback, and advanced operational data extraction.

Predictive Analytics & Simulation: Develop predictive models and simulation frameworks to forecast transportation capacity bottlenecks and resolve complex business constraints.

Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Lead or actively support analytical initiatives by collaborating with engineers, operations heads, and regional planners to map business models to technical frameworks.

Required Experience & Technical Baseline:

Professional Tenure: Minimum of Two (2) Years of direct work experience in data measurement, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, simulation development, or predictive analytics.
