The role is integrated directly within the global Siemens Healthineers IT organisation, working in close collaboration with colleagues from the specialised SHS IT DX (Diagnostics IT) division. This global team owns, scales, and secures the enterprise software systems that keep international medical diagnostic pipelines running smoothly.

About the Role: IT Analyst – ETQ Reliance

Are you an experienced IT practitioner who specialises in enterprise Quality Management Systems (QMS) and scalable cloud software architectures? Siemens Healthineers is seeking a structured, analytical IT Analyst – ETQ Reliance with 5 to 6 years of relevant experience. This permanent, full-time position operates under an Office/Site-only work framework in Bangalore.

In this role, you will serve as the primary technical subject matter expert (SME) and contact person for the SHS IT DX organisation regarding the EtQ Reliance SaaS solution. Moving beyond basic maintenance, you will spearhead end-to-end technical implementations—from initial requirement engineering and system architecture mapping to Change, Problem, and Incident Management. You will ensure that this critical quality software integrates flawlessly into the broader Siemens IT ecosystem while rigorously enforcing information security, quality guidelines, and global data privacy compliance.

Key Responsibilities & IT Application Workflows

  • Solution Architecture & Design: Translate abstract business requirements into high-performance application designs and optimal technical configurations within the EtQ Reliance SaaS platform.

  • End-to-End Implementation Support: Provide comprehensive technical backing across complex, large-scale projects, driving requirement engineering, system testing, comprehensive documentation, and go-live deployment schedules.

  • Incident & Problem Management: Take technical ownership of the Change, Problem, and Incident Management processes, providing rapid troubleshooting and managing feedback loops during high-priority system disruptions.

  • Stakeholder Coordination & UAT: Partner with international business units to plan, align, and coordinate platform go-lives, including orchestrating structured User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • IT System Compliance: Strictly enforce global corporate IT compliance parameters, ensuring the platform satisfies all quality assurance, information security protocols, and international data privacy regulations.

  • Ecosystem Integration & Documentation: Seamlessly integrate the EtQ Reliance solution into the corporate IT ecosystem and guide business stakeholders through the formal ITCCS (IT Cloud Compliance and Security)process, maintaining bulletproof technical documentation.

  • Global Backlog Management: Utilise a highly structured, analytical approach to organise and prioritise the global product backlog, carefully evaluating interdependencies between multi-regional software requirements.

Candidate Prerequisites & Technical Skill Stack

Candidates must offer a disciplined approach to application lifecycle management, clear technical familiarity with modern cloud deployments, and the communication skills required to coordinate across global matrix teams.

Required Experience & Educational Baseline:

  • Professional Tenure: 5 to 6 years of relevant professional experience working as an IT analyst, systems engineer, or application specialist.

  • Educational Credentials: Preferably holds a university degree (B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative field.

  • ETQ Reliance Domain Focus: Direct, hands-on technical experience working with the ETQ Reliance SaaS solution is highly preferred.

  • Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure: Solid foundational knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) frameworks, public cloud environments, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and modern IT system architecture.

  • Requirement Engineering: Proven track record in formal requirement engineering, mapping operational business workflows to functional software features.

Preferred Certifications & Non-Technical Skills:

  • ITIL Framework: A formal ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification is considered a strong advantage for managing incident/problem lifecycles.

  • Backlog & Product Management: Demonstrated ability to manage global system requirement backlogs and navigate complex technical interdependencies.

  • Global Communication: Exceptional customer orientation, team-player mentality, and fluent professional English communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners worldwide.
