Role Overview
ICON plc is seeking an Office-based Intern in Bengaluru to support its Scientific Operations team.
This internship offers hands-on experience in a global clinical research environment. You will work alongside experienced scientific colleagues to assist with clinical data collection, project research, workflow tracking, administrative operations, and the preparation of operational reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Research: Assist with primary research, data gathering, and initial analysis to support ongoing scientific operations and clinical trial projects.

Operational & Administrative Support: Support day-to-day office operations, workflow coordination, and task management for the scientific operations team.

Documentation & Reporting: Help prepare detailed project reports, executive presentations, spreadsheet models, and meeting documentation.

Cross-Functional Engagement: Participate actively in team meetings, contribute workflow improvement ideas, and collaborate with team members across scientific disciplines.

Professional Development: Engage in structured learning, mentorship sessions, and internal networking opportunities within ICON.
Required Qualifications & Competencies

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Clinical Research, Data Science, or related fields).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with data analysis methods or project management tools is a plus.
