The BI & Analytics team serves as the company’s central engine for growth, data hygiene, and performance tracking. The team translates massive, high-throughput on-chain and product interaction data into business insights, supporting executive decisions across trading operations, compliance, PR, and product strategy.

Role Overview

CoinDCX is seeking an Analytics Intern in Bengaluru with an immediate availability window.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including product managers, legal/compliance leads, and investor relations—to collect, analyse, and visualise high-volume crypto market and product datasets. You will write SQL queries, build operational BI dashboards, establish data anomaly alerts, and run market intelligence analyses within the fast-paced Web3 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Requirements & Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Investor Relations, Legal, PR) to extract and document business data requirements.
  • SQL Querying & Reporting: Extract, clean, and analyze relational data from internal databases to produce recurring and ad-hoc performance reports.
  • Dashboarding & Performance Tracking: Support the design, build, and maintenance of executive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
  • Data Anomaly & Alert Monitoring: Configure data anomaly detection alerts, establish error tracking logics, and build incident prioritization workflows for platform data pipelines.
  • Market & Competitor Analytics: Conduct competitive benchmarking and VDA market research to inform business strategy and product roadmap development.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Core Technical Stack: Strong working knowledge of SQL and database concepts, along with advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Practical Exposure: Demonstrated exposure to data analytics through academic projects, self-initiated portfolios, or prior internships.
  • Availability: Must be available to join the Bengaluru office immediately.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Practical scripting capability in Python for automated reporting or data wrangling.
  • Hands-on exposure to BI visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and product analytics platforms.
  • Basic understanding of data modeling concepts and database schema design.
  • Passion for Virtual Digital Assets (VDAs), crypto markets, and Web3 technologies.
