Role Overview
Wells Fargo is hiring an Intern Analyst for its 2027 Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) Summer Internship Program in Bengaluru.
In this early-careers role, interns will support strategic initiatives and operational execution across core WIM verticals, including Banking, Lending, Trust Services, Investment Solutions, and Data Management. Working alongside senior business leaders and cross-functional teams, you will analyse business workflows, monitor performance KPIs, leverage data visualisation tools, and support projects that drive operational excellence, risk management, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Business Process Optimisation: Review and analyse operational workflows across Banking, Lending, and Investment Solutions to identify key process improvements.

Data Analytics & Reporting: Work with large datasets and reporting frameworks to monitor performance metrics, business trends, and operational insights.

Risk Management & Compliance: Develop a functional understanding of financial compliance requirements and risk programs (Credit, Market, Operational, and Regulatory Compliance).

Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with team leads and peers on low-to-medium complexity business initiatives, participating in formal structured training and workshops.

Documentation & Escalation: Support proactive risk identification, governance reporting, and technical documentation following organizational policies.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements
Required Qualifications

Experience/Education: 6+ months of work experience, or an equivalent combination of higher education, training, military, or work experience.
Desired Qualifications

Academic Standing: Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with anticipated graduation between March 2028 and August 2028.

Analytical Tools: Prior exposure to tools such as AI, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or Alteryx.

Domain Knowledge: Basic foundational understanding of financial services, commercial/retail banking, capital markets, or wealth management concepts.

Project Management: Familiarity with core project management principles and reporting methodologies.

Large Datasets: Hands-on experience interpreting and summarizing large business datasets.
