Role Overview
TCS is hosting an in-person Walk-In Interview Drive in Bengaluru for experienced Data Scientists (4–15 years).
In this role, you will design, fine-tune, and deploy state-of-the-art Generative AI, Large Language Model (LLM), and Agentic AI architectures into production. You will work across Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Time-Series domains, implementing cloud-native MLOps pipelines across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Key Responsibilities

GenAI & Agentic AI Systems: Design, build, and deploy agentic AI frameworks leveraging LLMs for autonomous reasoning, planning, tool usage, and task execution.

Model Fine-Tuning & Customization: Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs and foundation models (PEFT, LoRA, QLoRA) to optimize performance for domain-specific enterprise applications.

Exploratory Analytics & Modeling: Execute deep exploratory data analysis (EDA) and apply advanced ML/DL algorithms across NLP, Time-Series Forecasting, and Computer Vision capability streams.

Production Deployment & MLOps: Integrate AI/GenAI models into scalable cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using MLOps practices for continuous model monitoring, drift detection, and lifecycle management.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with enterprise clients and engineering teams to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions while mentoring junior data scientists.
Qualifications & Competency Profile

Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred; Bachelor’s accepted with strong experience) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field.

Experience: 4 to 15 years in core Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI development, with a track record of deploying GenAI/ML models in production environments.

Core Skill Requirements:

Programming & Tooling: High proficiency in Python or R along with
pandas,NumPy,scikit-learn,PyTorch, orTensorFlow. -
Generative AI & LLMs: Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI), prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.

Cloud & MLOps: Practical experience with cloud-native AI platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI) and MLOps deployment pipelines.
