Role Overview
Mitra Learn is hiring an entry-level to junior Data / Business Analyst to join its Kudlu Gate office in Bengaluru.
In this role, you will collect, clean, and analyse operational, marketing, and sales data. You will build Excel and Power BI dashboards, execute market and competitor research, track key performance metrics, and deliver data-driven recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Reporting: Maintain operational databases, spreadsheets, and weekly reporting summaries across sales, customer engagement, and marketing functions.

Dashboarding & Visualization: Design interactive dashboards in MS Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI to track key business KPIs and operational metrics.

Business & Market Research: Conduct industry benchmark studies, competitor research, and market trend analyses to inform product and business strategy.

Data Quality & Integrity: Perform regular data audits to identify inconsistencies, resolve reporting gaps, and ensure high accuracy across business databases.

Stakeholder Support: Translate cross-functional business requirements into clear data analysis, presenting actionable findings directly to management.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Commerce (B.Com), Economics, Statistics, Computer Applications (BCA), Computer Science, or Engineering.

Experience: 0–3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, MIS, or Market Research. Freshers with strong academic or personal project portfolios are encouraged to apply.

Core Technical Skills:

Spreadsheets: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) and Google Sheets.

Databases: Fundamental knowledge of SQL for querying and filtering datasets (preferred).

BI Tools: Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualisation tools.

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, high attention to detail, and solid communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
