As part of the Managed Services team, technical consultants maintain, enhance, and optimize large-scale Oracle Cloud enterprise implementations.

Role Overview

As an Analyst, Managed Services, you will provide 24×7 technical operations, production support, system enhancements, and custom application development for enterprise clients running on Oracle Cloud.
You will build custom extensions using Oracle APEX and VBCS, construct integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), author complex BI Publisher and OTBI reports, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Extension Development: Build, enhance, and maintain web/mobile cloud extensions and UI modules using Oracle APEX and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
  • Integrations & Middleware Support: Develop, test, and troubleshoot integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and WSDL definitions.
  • Reporting & Data Conversions: Create and optimise technical components including BI Publisher reports, OTBI analyses, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), and batch data loads using FBDI (File-Based Data Import) templates.
  • Production Support & Queue Management: Conduct daily incident and problem management, ticket queue monitoring, root-cause analysis (RCA), and bug fixes under strict ITIL/ITSM SLAs.
  • System Administration & Maintenance: Execute Enterprise Scheduler Service (ESS) job scheduling, BI security role configurations, code migrations, code reviews, and SQL performance tuning.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
  • Required Technical Experience (2–3 Years):
    • Practical experience in Oracle Cloud technical implementations, support, or managed services.
    • Hands-on development experience in Oracle APEX and VBCS.
    • Deep knowledge of developing conversions, interfaces, and reports using SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, FRS, and FBDI.
    • Practical experience supporting 2–3 core Oracle Cloud modules (Finance, SCM, or HCM) regarding table schemas, navigation, and business process flows.
    • Integration development or support experience using OIC, SOA, REST, or SOAP web services.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience successfully delivering at least 2 end-to-end integrations using OIC or SOA.
    • Strong foundation in SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and technical naming standards.
    • Experience applying enterprise cloud integration patterns and handling security role assignments.
    • Prior experience working in a structured ITSM environment managing production ticket queues.
