About the Role: Data Analyst – Growth

Are you a data-savvy professional with a passion for gaming? As a Growth Analyst at Bombay Play, you will be at the heart of our user acquisition engine. This is a high-impact role within the Data Science & Analytics department where you will analyze multi-channel performance data to shape marketing strategies and drive player engagement in a competitive global market.

Core Responsibilities

  • Data-Driven Modelling: Forecast critical gaming metrics including Player LTV (Lifetime Value), Revenue, Churn rates, and break-even periods.

  • Campaign Optimisation: Partner with the User Acquisition (UA) Manager to optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Unity, and Facebook to achieve maximum ROI.

  • A/B Testing & Strategy: Design and execute A/B tests for marketing creatives and in-game promotions to identify high-performing strategies.

  • Performance Tracking: Build and maintain advanced dashboards using SQL and BigQuery to monitor KPIs and share actionable insights with stakeholders.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research into competitor strategies and gamer behaviour to keep Bombay Play ahead of industry trends.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Open to Any Graduate or Any Postgraduate with strong analytical leanings.

  • Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Python, and MS Excel is mandatory.

  • Industry Context: A genuine passion for gaming and an understanding of social/multiplayer game mechanics.

  • Soft Skills: Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and a “go-getter” attitude.

  • Bonus: Experience with ad networks like Applovin or Unity is a significant plus.
