Business Analyst at Gratia

Apply for the remote-first Business Analyst track at Gratia in the UAE. Bridge management consulting with data-driven workflows, executing financial models, RevOps, and visualisation systems.

About the Company: Gratia

Gratia operates as an elite, tech-enabled, apprenticeship-based platform founded on the principle that while commercial potential is globally distributed, economic opportunity is not. Gratia bridges this structural gap by connecting ambitious, high-growth corporations with hands-on, top-tier business analysts who deliver reference-quality results. Maintaining an exceptional 88.2 Net Promoter Score (NPS), Gratia supports global enterprise partners—including iconic brands like USA Today Co., Endeavour, and New York Life—with precise, actionable data insights and strategic execution models.

As a remote-first international community, Gratia is explicitly designed for high-performing professionals who value both absolute operational excellence and personal autonomy. Rather than relying on traditional service-provider hierarchies, Gratia fosters a curated, meritocratic ecosystem driven by peer reviews, transparent quality metrics, and deep specialized domain designations.

About the Role: The Business Analyst Track

Are you an independent, analytically minded consultant who wants to move away from rigid office structures while continuing to handle high-stakes corporate assignments? Gratia is hiring for its remote-first Business Analyst Track within the United Arab Emirates. This is a tiered, multi-level position where your specific placement is determined dynamically based on your underlying technical stack, consulting background, and readiness to lead executive client relationships.

The track offers both part-time and full-time configurations. Because Gratia services top-tier global institutions, successful candidates must maintain a flexible professional schedule that allows for consistent daily overlap with United States (US) business hours.

The Tiered Career Framework

Gratia utilises a structured, transparent advancement ladder based on ownership, capability, and client-facing exposure:

  • Associate (A2): Focuses on executing and delivering reliable, high-quality outputs on standard project pipelines, communicating directly with senior team leads, and navigating complex problem sets with technical curiosity.

  • Analyst (A3): Focuses on designing innovative analytical approaches for complex corporate challenges, exercising sound business judgment, independently managing day-to-day client relationships, and mentoring junior associates.

  • Senior (A4): Functions as a recognised Subject Matter Expert (SME). Senior analysts handle the most intricate corporate problems, set global delivery quality standards, and directly manage board-level stakeholder relationships.

Core Functional Tracks & Dynamic Workflows

Candidates are expected to bring direct experience or transferable strategic skills in at least two of the following operational domains:

  • Financial Modelling & Analytics: Structuring corporate 3-Statement models, executing Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) valuations, running scenario-based forecasting models, mapping M&A calculations, and designing Monte Carlo risk simulations.

  • Go-to-Market & RevOps: Optimising cross-border sales processes, auditing pipeline conversions, and configuring enterprise CRMs to drive revenue acceleration.

  • Process Design & Automation: Mapping complex multi-department workflows and deploying modern automation tools like Zapier or Make to build hands-off backend systems.

  • Data Analytics & Visualisations: Engineering structural databases, wrangling large unorganised data files, and building interactive, insight-driven dashboards using Tableau or Power BI alongside machine learning tools.

  • Market Intelligence: Calculating addressable market metrics (TAM, SAM, SOM), executing deep-dive competitive research, and writing industry-specific reports.

  • Narrative & Presentation Design: Synthesising financial and operational conclusions into investor-ready decks and high-stakes executive visual materials.

  • Business Planning & Growth: Structuring long-term corporate roadmaps, running SWOT matrices, and designing risk management frameworks.

  • Project Management & Delivery: Orchestrating complex project schedules, managing risk registers, allocating international resources, and driving stakeholder alignment.

Candidate Prerequisites & Key Competencies

Successful applicants balance a strong consulting pedigree with the agility required to learn modern, AI-enhanced data workflows quickly.

Required Professional Qualifications:

  • Client Management Experience: Proven background leading client conversations, scoping requirements, and providing high-level analytical guidance.

  • Corporate Pedigree (Preferred): Prior experience coming out of an MBB (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) firm, a Big 4consulting practice, or another globally recognised advisory institution is a major plus.

  • Communication Mastery: A professional tone with the ability to explain highly complex financial, data, or operational concepts simply to diverse groups.

  • Schedule Flexibility: Readiness to maintain a routine that supports consistent daily overlap with Western/US business time zones.

Core Behavioural Competencies:

  • Decision Excellence: The ability to take vague, open-ended business challenges, break them down structurally, and identify clear solutions.

  • Business Acumen: A clear understanding of modern enterprise business models and how backend analytical outputs alter real-world commercial results.

  • Execution Mastery: A commitment to producing polished, accurate, and reference-quality deliverables that require minimal editing.
