Role Overview – Data Scientist
As a Data Scientist at Cvent, you will play a key role in extracting, analysing, and interpreting complex datasets to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, develop predictive models, and deliver high-quality analytical insights that influence business performance at local, national, and global levels.
This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in statistical tools, and hands-on experience with AI models, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Management

Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.

Develop and maintain databases and data systems.

Reorganise raw data into structured, readable formats.

Remove corrupted data and resolve coding errors to ensure data integrity.

Filter data through reports and performance indicators to identify and fix inconsistencies.
Data Analysis & Interpretation

Perform detailed analysis to assess data quality and business relevance.

Use statistical tools to identify patterns, correlations, and trends in complex datasets.

Assign measurable values to key business functions for performance benchmarking.

Reporting & Visualization

Prepare comprehensive reports for management, highlighting trends, predictions, and actionable insights.

Develop final analytical summaries for stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Create dashboards and visual representations using tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
AI & Advanced Analytics

Apply AI models and Large Language Models (LLMs) for predictive and diagnostic analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this Data Scientist role, candidates should demonstrate:

Proven experience in data analysis or data science.
