Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at NumeralHQ, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve financial data accuracy and streamline operational workflows.
Your responsibilities include:
- Reconciling financial and transactional data from multiple sources
- Normalizing customer data across platforms like Stripe, Shopify, and Numeral API
- Supporting onboarding and resolving data-related issues
- Assisting customer-facing teams with insights and investigations
- Building internal tools and improving reconciliation processes
- Enhancing DBT pipelines and contributing to data architecture improvements
Required Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced startup environments
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience will have an added advantage:
- Experience with DBT or ETL frameworks
- Familiarity with Stripe, Shopify, Fivetran, S3, DuckDB, or Parquet
- Knowledge of REST APIs and Python scripting
- Background in finance, tax, accounting, or operations
- Experience in technical customer success or onboarding support
