About the Data Analyst Role
As a Data Analyst at Connext, you will be responsible for building and delivering comprehensive financial reports that provide a real-time view of assets, liabilities, and investment performance. This role requires working with data aggregation tools and financial systems to generate actionable insights that support business decision-making.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity, while also identifying potential risks and opportunities within financial datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to track assets and liabilities
- Perform account-level reconciliation to ensure data accuracy
- Manage data entry, validation, and reporting processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data inconsistencies and discrepancies
- Generate ad hoc reports based on business needs and stakeholder requests
- Analyse ownership structures, investment allocations, and performance metrics
- Ensure timely delivery of reports aligned with project deadlines and quality standards
- Continuously improve reporting workflows and data processes
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
Technical Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data handling, reporting)
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure SQL for querying and managing datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools and data aggregation platforms
