Role Overview – Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst, you will work on large-scale financial datasets exceeding 100TB, ensuring data accuracy and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and reporting tools.
This hybrid, full-time role in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is ideal for candidates with strong analytical thinking and hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and data validation techniques.
You will play a critical role in maintaining data integrity, supporting business insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and manage high-volume daily financial datasets
- Develop and optimize data quality frameworks
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring
- Identify and resolve Level 1 & Level 2 data issues, escalating complex cases when required
- Utilize SQL for querying, joins, and performance optimization
- Apply Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports
- Work with large-scale datasets covering 100K+ global companies
- Use statistical methods to detect anomalies and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver insights
- Integrate and manage data from multiple structured and unstructured sources
Required Skills
To succeed in this Data Analyst role, candidates should have:
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, optimization)
- Hands-on experience with Python programming for data analysis
- Experience with dashboarding tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Exposure to big data environments and large datasets
