As a Data Analyst Fresher, you will step into a versatile, high-growth role that bridges corporate backend operations with modern data analytics. Your daily focus will range from initial information gathering and standard data entry to data cleansing and compiling Management Information System (MIS) reports. You will work extensively with Microsoft Excel (utilising VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Power Query), run exploratory data analysis (EDA), perform database validation checks, and assist senior analysts in building visual dashboards inside Power BI or Tableau to track project performance.

Key Responsibilities & Analytical Workflows

  • Information Ingestion & Sanitisation: Gather, extract, and sort structured and unstructured operational data from multiple engineering projects, cleaning raw inputs to eliminate clerical errors or duplicates.

  • MIS Reporting & Data Management: Compile, update, and manage comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports and backend files to maintain historical project records.

  • Excel Automation & Analytics: Utilise intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel features—including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and Power Query—to slice datasets and automate routine calculations.

  • Trend & Pattern Exploration: Run baseline exploratory data analysis (EDA) to locate hidden operational bottlenecks, shifting timeline trends, and supply chain resource patterns.

  • Visual Dashboard Prototyping: Assist in building and updating interactive reporting charts and dashboards within Power BI or Tableau to make technical metrics easily accessible for business teams.

  • Data Integrity Validation: Execute routine quality checks and data verification procedures to ensure absolute accuracy before sending analytical assets to stakeholders.

  • Cross-Functional Team Support: Partner closely with engineering managers, backend operation executives, and business squads to address daily technical data requirements.

Candidate Prerequisites & Key Technical Skills

Required Experience & Educational Baseline:
