🔎 About the Role

Blackbaud is a SaaS solutions provider that powers social good through software, services, data intelligence, and expertise. The Customer Contact Data Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining high-quality customer contact data—vital for Sales, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Renewals teams.

This role focuses on customer data health, CRM data governance, data modelling, reporting automation, and ETL integration processes. You will work within a larger customer data team and contribute to initiatives across data governance, data engineering, and data science pillars.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

📊 Customer Data Governance & Quality

  • Define and build playbooks (manual or digital) to enhance customer contact data health.

  • Research and validate customer contact records within Blackbaud’s internal systems

  • Update and maintain accurate contact data to support cross-functional teams.

  • Act as a data custodian and subject matter expert for customer data

  • Maintain and report contact data, health quality metrics.

  • Develop monthly and quarterly data cleansing and validation cadences.


📈 Reporting, Analytics & Data Modeling

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data models using Qlik Sense (or similar BI platforms), Salesforce, and Excel.

  • Perform quantitative analysis to derive actionable insights.

  • Support operational reporting for Customer Success and Sales teams.

  • Identify trends in contact data that impact upsell, cross-sell, and renewals.


🔄 Data Engineering & ETL

  • Develop data integrations through Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.

  • Work with structured CRM data models.

  • Contribute to improving CRM data governance practices.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation.


🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Engage directly with B2B customers to resolve contact data issues.

  • Work in Agile or cross-functional team environments

  • Communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Support Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, and Marketing teams


🛠 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related Technology fields

  • 1–3 years of experience engaging with B2B customers

  • 1–3 years of experience performing quantitative analysis

  • Experience working as an individual contributor with close attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


⭐ Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce Contact and Account data models

  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS customer lifecycles and renewal motions

  • Experience in CRM data governance

  • Hands-on exposure to BI tools such as Qlik Sense

  • ETL data extraction and transformation experience
