Role Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will function as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will translate regulatory and liquidity risk requirements into functional specifications, ensure solution accuracy, and lead validation efforts before user acceptance.
This role demands strong domain knowledge, analytical rigour, and hands-on involvement in functional testing and Agile ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Gathering & Documentation
-
Understand user expectations and convert them into structured functional requirements.

Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
-
Conduct impact analysis and manage requirement traceability.
-
Raise clarifications with stakeholders and ensure requirement completeness.
2. Domain Representation & Stakeholder Communication
-
Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for business requirements.
-
Represent end-user expectations within the development team.
-
Facilitate clear communication between onshore and offshore teams.
3. Knowledge Transfer & Team Enablement
-
Deliver Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions to developers.
-
Train team members on liquidity risk concepts and functional flows.
-
Support onboarding and functional alignment within the team.
4. Functional Testing & Product Certification
-
Lead functional validation and testing cycles.
-
Conduct functionality reviews and verify regulatory compliance.
-
Certify product releases before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
-
Ensure adherence to best practices in product quality assurance.
5. Agile Collaboration
-
Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
-
Prioritize deliverables according to iteration goals.
-
Contribute to continuous improvement within Agile frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
-
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking or Financial Services.
Domain Expertise (Mandatory)

Strong understanding of Liquidity Risk management.

Knowledge of Basel III Liquidity Ratios (LCR and NSFR).

Familiarity with banking products, including:
