The role focuses on analysing sales performance, market demand, production planning, and customer consumption trends to support strategic decision-making.
The selected candidate will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to improve business performance using meaningful insights generated from business data.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyse primary and secondary sales data across regions, distributors, and retail outlets.
- Identify sales gaps, underperforming markets, and new business opportunities.
- Study population demographics, geography, income levels, and consumer buying patterns.
- Evaluate existing product performance and new product launches.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the innerwear and apparel industry.
- Compare market demand with production capacity and SKU availability.
- Identify overstocked, understocked, slow-moving, and fast-moving products.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) through market insights and customer feedback.
- Prepare sales forecasting and demand planning reports.
- Design MIS reports, Power BI dashboards, and business performance reports.
- Support territory planning and sales strategy optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Production, SCM, Sales, and R&D.
- Analyse sales team performance and generate actionable business recommendations.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred)
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Business Analytics, Marketing, or Operations is an added advantage
- 3–6 years of relevant Business Analyst, Sales Analytics, or Business Intelligence experience
