🔍 Role Summary
As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your role will focus on understanding business requirements, documenting them clearly, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology solutions that deliver measurable business value.
You will also play a crucial role in aligning cross-functional teams, supporting Agile workflows, and ensuring that project deliverables meet both business and technical expectations.
✅ Key Responsibilities
🔹 Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Elicit, analyse, and document detailed business and functional requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories)
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement sessions
- Translate complex business needs into clear, structured technical requirements
- Create process diagrams, use cases, wireframes, and data models
🔹 Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between business users, developers, QA teams, and product owners
- Ensure alignment on project goals, scope, and deliverables
- Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts, ambiguities, and requirement gaps
🔹 Solution Development Support
- Work closely with development teams during design and implementation phases
- Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against requirements
- Assist in change management and user onboarding
🔹 Documentation & Governance
- Maintain the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) for project transparency
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, updated, and version-controlled
- Support compliance, audits, and governance frameworks where required
🧠 Skills & Competencies
🔹 Core Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall environments
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
🔹 Technical Skills
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
- Experience with process modelling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, ERP or CRM platforms (preferred)
🎓 Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- An MBA or equivalent qualification is considered an advantage
