 The Role: Architecting Video Discovery

As an AI/ML Specialist, you will work at the intersection of Data Science and Engineering to build a highly personalized, scalable recommendation system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Component Analysis: Implement Computer Vision models for automated video classification and feature extraction.

• Vector Database Management: Utilise vector databases to manage high-dimensional video embeddings for efficient similarity searches.

• User Profiling: Analyse and classify user behaviour (likes, dislikes, social graphs) to build dynamic preference models.

• Algorithm Development: Design and deploy collaborative filtering, content-based, and hybrid recommendation architectures.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to turn business metrics into high-performance ML models.

• Rapid Deployment: Build and iterate quickly in a high-pressure, high-ownership environment without compromising system integrity.

 Your Technical Success Profile

We are looking for a specialist who combines deep theoretical knowledge with an entrepreneurial “builder” mindset.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or ML (Tier 1 colleges highly desirable).

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing ML models.

• Core Technical Stack:

  • Languages: Expert-level Python.

  • Frameworks: Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.

  • Specialization: Deep understanding of Computer Vision and Vector Databases.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS or Azure for deploying scalable ML workloads.
