Job Overview

Wipro is hiring an experienced Cyber Security Analyst L3 to strengthen its Security Operations and Incident Response capabilities. This role focuses on analyzing, identifying, and mitigating cybersecurity threats while ensuring the protection of sensitive organizational data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SOC operations, log analysis, incident handling, and forensic investigation.

This position is suited for cybersecurity professionals who can manage escalated incidents, identify emerging threat patterns, and work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Security Monitoring & Incident Management

  • Monitor and safeguard security logs, systems, and access controls

  • Detect, analyze, and respond to cyberattacks, intrusions, and unauthorized activities

  • Handle security incidents escalated by L1 teams and ensure timely resolution

  • Perform log reviews and forensic analysis to identify suspicious or malicious behavior

Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment

  • Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and root cause analysis of incidents

  • Identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities using advanced security analytics tools

  • Analyze attack patterns and recommend corrective and preventive security measures

  • Maintain and update the information security risk register

Security Operations & Disaster Recovery

  • Support disaster recovery planning and execution during security breaches

  • Complete tactical cybersecurity operations tasks assigned to the engagement

  • Ensure compliance with defined SLAs, response times, and resolution TATs

Reporting, Audits & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Prepare detailed incident reports, dashboards, and documentation

  • Coordinate with stakeholders on cybersecurity issues and remediation plans

  • Assist with internal and external audits related to information security

  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve security posture and governance

Awareness & Advisory

  • Assist in developing and delivering cybersecurity awareness programs

  • Provide guidance to employees on phishing, spam, and malicious emails

  • Promote best practices for information security across the organization

Performance Metrics

  • Customer Centricity:
    Timely and effective resolution of security incidents to enhance user and stakeholder experience

  • Process Adherence:
    Compliance with SLAs (90–95%), response time targets, and resolution timelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC operations

  • Strong knowledge of incident response, log monitoring, and forensic analysis

  • Experience with SIEM tools, threat detection, and security analytics platforms

  • Understanding of information security frameworks and audit requirements

  • Ability to work in 24×7 rotational shifts

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
