The Role: Design & Development Engineer

The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and troubleshoot advanced engineering solutions, models, and simulations. You will bridge the gap between traditional engineering drawings and fully functional digital software systems, ensuring operational feasibility and optimised performance.

Key Responsibilities & Impact

• Advanced Modelling: Utilise CAD and CAE software to develop high-fidelity models according to client specifications and project plans.

• Simulation & Analysis: Test prototypes by checking boundary conditions, including Impact Analysis and Stress Analysis, to ensure structural integrity.

• FMEA Leadership: Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for new client requirements to proactively mitigate risks.

• Virtual Optimization: Provide cost-effective, optimized solutions by running simulations in virtual environments before physical prototyping.

• Software Integration: Integrate software components into fully functional systems, ensuring industry-standard operating procedures (SOPs) are met.

• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems with minimum latency and maximum efficiency.

• Quality Assurance: Develop verification plans and maintain a 100% compliance rate on bi-directional traceability matrices.

What You Will Bring

• Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in design, development, and engineering simulations.

• Technical Mastery: Strong command over CAD/CAE tools and engineering prototype development.
