About the Role:

Oracle is looking for a talented Freelance Database Developer to join our dynamic global technology team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain high-performance database systems that support our enterprise solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient database architectures that power innovative business applications.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize Oracle databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to automate business processes.
• Monitor database performance and perform tuning, indexing, and optimization.
• Implement data migration, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Work with application developers to integrate backend database solutions.
• Maintain database security, data integrity, and compliance standards.
• Identify and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with project managers and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into database designs.

👉 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Database Developer or Database Engineer (preferably Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database design.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c or newer versions.
• Experience in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database services (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
• Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and database architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in Oracle Database Administration or Development.
• Experience working in freelance or remote project-based environments.
