As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and highly driven US IT Recruiter to join our on-site team. Role Overview

The US IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing top-tier IT professionals for clients across the United States. This role demands a thorough understanding of US recruitment processes, familiarity with visa classifications, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment. You will collaborate closely with account managers, hiring managers, and internal leadership to ensure timely fulfilment of client requirements.

Salary Range: ₹4,00,000 – ₹9,00,000 per annum (based on experience, performance & incentives)


Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Sourcing & Candidate Management

  • Source qualified candidates using job boards such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Indeed, and internal databases.

  • Engage in proactive sourcing through networking, referrals, social media platforms, and professional communities.

  • Conduct detailed screening calls to assess technical expertise, communication skills, career goals, and cultural fit.

  • Manage the full candidate lifecycle, including initial outreach, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

2. Client Requirement Handling

  • Understand client job descriptions thoroughly and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.

  • Work closely with Account Managers to prioritise urgent requirements and deliver high-quality profiles quickly.

  • Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, market insights, and potential hiring challenges.

  • Ensure timely submission of profiles that match required skills, experience levels, and salary expectations.

3. Compliance & Documentation

  • Handle compliance checks including work authorisation (US Citizens, Green Card, H1B, TN, EAD, OPT, CPT, etc.).

  • Ensure all candidate documentation meets internal and client-specific policy requirements.

  • Coordinate background checks, employment verification, and other onboarding formalities as needed.

4. Negotiation & Offer Management

  • Negotiate compensation packages (W2, C2C, 1099) based on market standards and client budgets.

  • Present offers to candidates professionally and support them through the acceptance process.

  • Manage counter-offers and retention risks by maintaining strong candidate relationships.

5. Performance & Reporting

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment targets, including submissions, interviews, and successful placements.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Prepare activity reports and share performance insights with management.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 1–5 years of hands-on experience as a US IT Recruiter.

  • Excellent understanding of US tax terms: W2, C2C, 1099, and various visa categories.

  • Strong knowledge of IT job roles such as Developers, QA Engineers, Cloud Architects, Data Engineers, Network Engineers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, etc.

  • Proficient in using sourcing tools and job portals—Dice, Monster, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.

  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear and confident speaking style.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise requirements, and work under pressure.

  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
