The Role: Data Science Engineer

We are looking for seasoned Data Science professionals with a strong background in Python and Machine Learning to join our consultancy wing in Kolkata. In this role, you will be responsible for turning vast amounts of complex data into actionable business intelligence. You will not only build models but also ensure they are scalable, production-ready, and integrated seamlessly into enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities & Impact

• Insight Extraction: Analyse large, complex datasets to identify meaningful patterns and trends that drive business strategy.

• Model Optimisation: Develop and implement high-performance machine learning models tailored to solve specific business problems.

• Pipeline Engineering: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient preprocessing and feature engineering.

• Strategic Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.

• EDA & Statistics: Perform rigorous exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical testing to support executive decision-making.

• Visualisation: Design intuitive dashboards to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.

• Production Deployment: Deploy ML models into live environments and manage the MLOps lifecycle, including performance monitoring and retraining.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Must-Have Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Python, Machine Learning, and Data Science methodologies.

• Engineering Background: Must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent technical degree.

• Experience: 5–10 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a consultancy or large-scale enterprise environment.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders.
